My goal is to provide a stress free learning environment, to achieve optimal retention of skill and knowledge. I am a registered respiratory therapist with experience in the neonatal ICU, pediatric ICU, pediatric ED, attending high risk deliveries, and responding to emergency situations. I am also currently a member on a neonatal and pediatric critical care transport team.
Teaching has always been a passion for me, and I am so excited to start providing NRP courses.

The NRP course format requires learners to study the material from the textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation and take an online examination before attending the hands on portion. Course time is used for skills stations and supervised practice.
Step 1: Online exam (3 hours)
Go to www.aap.org/nrp and purchase a key code for the online examination. You must complete the online examination before you come to skills testing.
Step 2: In class skills testing (up to 3 hours - depending on class size)
You will participate in hands on performance skill stations. The skills stations will focus on communication, teamwork, and combining the NRP algorithm.
Step 3: After successfully completing step 2, log back into your Healthstream account, complete the evaluation, and receive your AAP NRP ecard through email.
